About me

I’m an artist who works with paper to create tactile, layered, intricate paper-cut illustrations. I incorporate play and discovery into children’s books, to encourage learning through search and find, pop-up, learning and activity books.

I host creative workshops with paper and print at their heart. These classes are inspired by nature and encourage people of all ages to use art to help us appreciate, learn, and stay connected to our world.

Sarah is an artist who lives in Bristol, UK. She specialises in creating intricate and tactile paper-cut illustrations. Her work often features in picture books & book covers. She incorporates playful elements to encourage learning through activities such as search and find, pop-ups and interactive books.

Sarah is passionate about making learning an enjoyable and visually engaging experience. As a child, she was diagnosed with dyslexia and often struggled with accessing information in a way that was both inspiring and easy to grasp. With her books, Sarah aims to encourage visual learners to explore facts and information in a visually stimulating way.

Sarah loves supporting children and adults in their creativity, she hosts classes that invite you to embrace play, imagination and self-exploration. Sarah hosts art classes at Goldfinch, an art space and cafe that promotes nurturing your well-being through creativity.
