It was such an honour to be commissioned by Great Ormond Street hospital to create a resource for the pre-operation play team to prepare families for surgery. I created a book called Follow the Fishes, with writer Joanna Bennett, to gently and playfully take patients through their hospital journey to surgery. To accompany the book, I designed a fold-out search and find activity, with stickers and colouring-in sheet. This included themes that were inspired by Jason Bruges’ Nature Trail digital wallpaper and the experiences of children visiting the hospital.
